2nd Annual Match Play Showdown at SMART Golf Lombard

Get ready to test your game under pressure! The Match Play Showdown is back for its 2nd year at SMART Golf Lombard, bringing high-stakes indoor match play to our state-of-the-art Trackman bays.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your competitive edge this winter or take home ultimate bragging rights, this tournament offers guaranteed match play action with full handicap integration, meaning golfers of all skill levels have a real shot at the title.

Tournament Structure & Format

• Group Play (Guaranteed 3 Matches): Players are placed into groups and will complete at least three guaranteed matches.

• Knockout Bracket: The top players from each group advance to a single-elimination match play bracket to crown the 2027 Champion!

• Trackman Technology: All matches are played in our Trackman simulators using official handicaps to ensure fair, competitive play.

Important Dates & Timeline

• Kickoff & Group Draw: Monday, January 4

• Group Play Window: January 11 – February 7

• Bracket Play Window: February 8 – March 14

• Championship Match: Saturday, March 20

Entry Details & Prizes

• Entry Fee: $100 per player

Player Requirements

All participants must have an active Trackman account and an established Trackman handicap prior to the start of group play.
